About me

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, accredited with IACP and EAPA Ireland.  I use and integrative approach combining  Humanistic and  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and adapt my approach to the needs of the client.  My area of specialisation is Gender and Sexual Diversity.  I work with individuals and also relationship counselling.  I work both short term and long term with clients.  My fees are €50 per session and €40 per session online.  I provide both daytime and evening appointments.  I also do online counselling by Skype.  I provide  a safe supportive space and time set aside to explore issues, often deeply personal, which are causing distress in life. Through this exploration of life events, past and present, which can include feelings and emotions, ways of thinking and behaviour patterns, the therapist will do their best to help you identify the means by which you can best resolve or learn to cope with these difficulties. I am experienced in working with gender, sexual orientation and sexual diversity.  I also provide training to counsellors on working with gender and sexual orientation.

I also offer an initial 30 minute consultation at €25, because entering into counselling can be a frightening idea, it is important that you feel comfortable with your counsellor.  This initial consultation will give you a chance to meet me and to ask any questions you may have about counselling.  From this you can make a decision on starting therapy.
