About me
I offer adult face to face individual psychotherapy and counselling in Central London, within easy reach of the West End, The City, Islington at minutes walking distance from Kings Cross. As BACP qualified integrative psychotherapist, I work across a wide range of areas and interests: lifestyle and relationship issues, “existential emptiness”, loss of meaning, bereavement and loss, trauma, mood disorders (anxiety and depression), past abuse (addiction and prevention of relapses), ageing and later life concerns. As Accredited Sexual Diversity Therapist I work with identity and sexuality, gender-fluidity and diversity issues, internalised phobias and anger.
Sessions can be conducted in English, Italian and German. Short term (usually 12 sessions) and long term work available. The initial session costs £60 and from there onward what agreed in that first session. I make allowances for students, unemployed and older people. Following counselling sessions might be via Skype to accommodate clients’ needs. I also work for various charitable organisations both LGBT and non such as London Friend and Mind. Finally, I am a visiting lecturer for CIPA Counselling School at Tor Vergata University in Rome.

Experience and approach
Specific experience and training:
Two decades of experience in assisting and management within both the military and civil aviation provided the platform which set off my interest in inner healing. The cross-cultural experience of my previous work along with a continuous training have provided the integrative and inclusive attitude which characterises both my training attitude and professional awareness.
I graduated as a 7-PATH Self Hypnosis Teacher (Phase Advanced Transformational Hypnotherapy) in California and currently am practising in London and Rome. I also graduated in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology at Regent's University. Additionally I fulfilled the requirements for and was awarded with "Alternative Sexualities Certificate" issued by Pink Therapy and "Train the Trainers- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy" - Group Protocol for Improving Employee Well Being and Performance issued by University of London's P. Flaxman and City and Hackney Mind.

Specialisms and interests:
My trainings are strictly related to my personal experiences. I offer sessions in English, Italian and German. My attention to language and the extensive cross cultural knowledge along with humanistic studies set off my journey within the talking therapies.
I started as a hypnotherapy practitioner and in time extended my practice to integrative counselling, psycho sexual therapy, NLP and ACT. I run workshops both in Rome and London.
Currently as Responsible for the International Relations of CIPA Counselling School within Tor Vergata University I lecture Hypnosis and Gender Sexual Diversieites and ACT(Acceptance and Committment Therapy).
Moreover I am the author of counselling-related articles for a peer-reviewed online magazine (www.cipacounselling.eu/cipazine/sessualita) and translated from American English into Italian "Healing Conversations, What to Say When You Don't Know What to Say" (Guilmartin, N - 2002 - CA: Jossey Bass ED).
