Also new helpline: The Helpline is part of the Family Service at Pace and offers email and phone support to anyone living in the UK who is dealing with issues related to being lesbian,gay, bisexual or transexual and being in families and/or relationships. These might include: coming out, relationship issues or difficulties, gay parenting, family dynamics of all kinds and support for heterosexual parents of lesbian, gay or bisexual children. We support both LGBT and heterosexual partners/family members.
We are able to offer the following kinds of support:
-Ad hoc telephone support
-Structured Telephone Counselling, of up to 6 weekly 30 minute sessions
-Ad hoc email support
-A more in depth email dialogue
There is no charge. Voluntary donations. We are not able to offer an emergency service.

Yorkshire MESMAC Counselling Service

Yorkshire MESMAC offers free short-term counselling for any gay or bisexual man or any man who has sex with men. Counselling is also available to wives and female partners of men who are attracted to men. All MESMAC counsellors are trained to at least Diploma standard and have attended a minimum of two days gay awareness training with Yorkshire MESMAC. Families Together London is a London-based support group for the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.

Outline is a completely volunteer led and run registered charity supporting LGBT people and those questioning their sexuality or gender identity. We operate a confidential telephone helpline and we also offer email support for people who do not feel confident enough to call. We are based in Surrey but we take calls from all over the UK. We also facilitate a monthly social/support group in Surrey providing a safe environment for people who are looking to explore their sexuality and also for people to make friends.
Our confidential helpline, 01483 727667, is open from 7.30 to 10 pm every Tuesday and Sunday. It is staffed by dedicated volunteers who are themselves gay, lesbian bisexual or Transgender and who have undergone an extensive training course.
