Faith Groups and Spirituality
Gay and Lesbian Religious Archives Network The LGBT Religious Archives Network (LGBTRAN) is an innovative venture in developing archives and encouraging historical study of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) religious movements. The LGBTRAN can best be viewed as a "virtual" archive. They serve as a resource for LGBT religious leaders and groups in determining how to preserve their historical records. They also provide an information clearinghouse for these archival collections in a central electronic directory for the use of historians, researchers and other interested persons. Adopts a multi-faith response and a searchable database.
