Hello! I’m Jason, a Marriage and Family Therapist from California in the USA. I’m currently living in York and offering one-on-one therapy via telemedicine (online video calls) to people in the UK.
My name is Chloe; a Clinical Sexologist, Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. I created my online private practice prodominently to serve the LGBTQIA+ community and those in more diverse groups. My practice is: Gender-affirming Neurodivergent-friendly Non-judgemental Anti-Conversion Therapy ENM-friendly Kink-aware Sex-worker positive I am an openly queer, non-binary, poly, neurodivergent practitioner.Â
As an LGBTQIA+ psychologist from Tahiti and France, I am passionate about providing therapy that is culturally sensitive and empowers everyone to lead more fulfilling, vibrant and authentic lives. I help clients understand how the past informs current patterns, develop coping skills to process difficult feelings, and grow the internal strengths and resources that we all hold. I work with people who experience a wide range of emotional, contextual or relational challenges. I also have specialist training in OCD and Trauma. Working in a person-centred and integrative way, I draw on therapies that include acceptance, compassionate, cognitive and exposure-based therapies.
My practice flourishes because I create a diverse and inclusive environment for everyone, and believe in and support the experiences of underrepresented people. I have 7 years of experience as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working at depth, and am fully accredited with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). If you are trying to find your way through, but facing issues around your sexual, relationship or gender identity, either within you or from the outside world, you will find a space here that is affirming and inclusive. I work with individuals over 18.
Are you looking for a therapist to walk alongside you as you heal, grow and start to live more fully? Hi, I’m Phil. I firmly believe that therapy can be transformative, providing a unique opportunity to explore our past experiences and understand how they influence our present. This viewpoint has been shaped by my experiences as both a therapist and a client. The therapeutic relationships I cultivate with people create a safe and empowering environment for them to examine and make sense of their connections with others and the world around them.
My approach is rooted in the person-centred modality, a humanistic, non-directive way of working that values your autonomy and welcomes you exactly as you are. I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is going on for you, at your own pace.
I first became interested in becoming a counsellor when a trans friend was discussing their frustrations around not being able to find a counsellor that understands them. Despite being CIS, I knew that could offer a safe, affirming space, where people could explore who they are without judgement. Several years later I am registered with the BACP as a person centred counsellor and hopefully, am now that counsellor for some people. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, and a person centred counsellor, I focus on who people are, and the experiences that have shaped them, the labels they
As a qualified person-centred counsellor, I want to create an environment to help you identify the tools you need. I am here to lend a kind and compassionate ear and help you reflect on your experiences and feelings. Counselling can be an overwhelming experience, especially if it’s your first time, and I want to be there to support you through the first steps or build on what you’ve already developed through previous counselling experiences.Â
