About the Therapist
I am a huge believer in the power of good conversations. Having had over 160 hours of my own therapy during my Postgraduate training, I've experienced how powerful it is to speak your truth out loud and have it witnessed, especially by someone who shares some of your world view.
I consider myself fortunate to know many inclusive and affirming members of faith groups, but I also have experience of living and working in environments where inclusion is not a certainty. I have walked alongside several men who have been deeply impacted by their experience of conversion therapy, and I believe passionately in the values of empowerment and protection in the therapy room.
I am a member of UKATA (United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis), an individual member of the BACP, and receive regular clinical supervision from a TSTA (Teaching & Supervising Transactional Analyst).

Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy is a process of talking together that can help you explore and relieve emotional distress, such as anxiety, depression, confusion, or relationship difficulties. As a therapist, I can support you to uncover new feelings, thoughts, and behaviours that fit with your true sense of self and aspirations.
By creating a trusting, empathetic, and non-judgmental relationship, we can work to understand how you became who you are, how your current relationships have developed, and what changes you wish to make.
This is an opportunity for your healing, empowerment, and transformation, helping you to move forward with greater authenticity and freedom.
What is Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy?
Transactional Analysis (TA) was developed by Eric Berne in the 1960s and offers a powerful framework for understanding yourself and your interactions with others. As a social psychology and therapeutic approach, TA helps you explore the origins of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, revealing how past experiences shape your present choices. By analysing interpersonal "transactions," TA illuminates communication patterns and empowers you to identify and change unhelpful behaviours. Ultimately, TA fosters self-awareness, personal growth, and the ability to make conscious, positive changes in your life, leading to greater independence and fulfilling relationships.
