I’m an Accredited Member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists and a Registered member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, as well as a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Certificate in Attachment Theory in Clinical Practice.
I regularly participate in training to ensure my knowledge and skills remain relevant and up to date. My training over the last few years has focused on attachment theory in clinical practice, domestic abuse/violence; gender, sexual and relationship diversity; gender dysphoria and transition; BDSM and kink; working through shame; overcoming infidelity in relationships, and Islamic traditions and laws on sex and sexuality.
PSYCHOTHERAPY
We all find life hard at times.
Psychotherapy can help you make sense of your feelings and understand yourself and your life better. In time, you will feel more confident and in control, and find a way forward.
I work with people facing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, low self-esteem, stress, emotional, physical or sexual abuse, and trauma.
RELATIONSHIP THERAPY
Positive relationships contribute to a long, healthy and happy life. But what if things aren’t going so well? Relationship therapy can help with all sorts of relationship problems, like infidelity, poor communication, conflict, cultural and religious differences, loss of intimacy and sexual connection.
I work with all styles of relationships: with people in monogamous and multi-partnered relationships (non-monogamy, polyamory, etc), and those engaged in BDSM and kink.
SEX THERAPY
These include erectile difficulties; rapid, delayed or absent ejaculation; vaginismus and painful sex; anixety or fear around sex; loss of desire or arousal; inability to orgasm, and out of control sexual behaviour (sometimes called sex or porn addiction).
