About the Therapist
As both a practicing therapist and as someone who has healed and grown in therapy myself, I know how it feels to be in both chairs in the therapy office. I have experience of many of life’s issues and have helped my clients through many more and, as such, I am ready to tackle any issues with you. It’s also important to me that I provide you with compassionate and authentic counselling at affordable rates.

I specialise in helping trans and/or non-binary people become who they really are without judgement. As a psychotherapist I have worked and volunteered hundreds of hours since 2011 with various counselling charities, including the National Self-Harm Network, Derby Counselling Centre, Derby Women’s Centre, and Hull and East Riding Survivors. I have worked in various mental health jobs, in the NHS and in private services, since 2007. I have been working in private practice in Hartlepool since early 2019. I have undergone extensive post-graduate training from Pink Therapy and Gendered Intelligence. If you are looking for somewhere to create meaning in your life, you are feeling lost or hopeless, or you are seeking emotional support, please get in touch.

A 50-60 minute psychotherapy session costs £70. An 80-90 minute psychotherapy session costs £105. I accept PayPal and bank transfer payments before or during each session. I offer a limited number of low-cost places to trans and/or non-binary people, as needed. I know that it can be difficult to find affordable and suitable therapy that does not pathologise non-allocishet identities, and I believe that you deserve the best of care. If income is in any way a barrier, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to see what we can organise.
