Brighton & Hove Counselling. Teodoro Fragoso Therapy
About the Therapist
Hi, I am Teodoro, and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor.
Working from the Integrative approach allows me to offer holistic support by using different techniques depending on each client's needs in a confidential and non-judgmental space.
I have specific training and proven expertise in working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and self-acceptance, focusing difficulties (including ADHD), trauma and sexuality issues. Furthermore, I am a prostate cancer survivor myself, and I could offer you empathetic mental health support on this matter.
As a therapist, I aim to help you better understand yourself through collaborative thinking. I will help you to identify the root of your struggles, prompting you to seek help and eventually find an alternative path to deal with them.Â
Sharing your thoughts and feelings with another person can be very challenging. I offer a safe, reflective and confidential space with this in mind, with respect for all of your experiences.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, I offer my support to help you navigate mental health challenges, emotional difficulties, and interpersonal relationships in a non-judgmental space.Â
I will focus our work on building awareness to understand who you are. You are all the result of your life experiences; identifying the connections between the past and the present will help you find new ways of looking at things and promote change through acceptance.
I firmly believe in mind and body connection and how trauma can affect our self-esteem and the ability to manage relationships and intimacy. Â
I invite you to contact me if you have any questions. We can arrange a brief, informal discussion about your situation and explore the possibility of starting therapeutic work.
What to expect in your first session
The first session will focus on whether we can connect. It will also be an opportunity for me to ask you questions about the reasons that have prompted you to start therapy, learn more about your life history, and look at what you expect from sessions.Â
