Lois Peachey Supervision
About the Therapist
Since undertaking supervision training in 2016, supervision has become a significant part of my practice. I work with people during their training as well as those with decades of experieence. A significant number of my supervisees are from the LGBTQ++ community.
As someone who enjoys supervision themselves, I hope to provide a safe space in which supervisees can bring their concerns and worries as well as their successes. I am second supervisor to some supervisees where they are basically happy with their existing supervisor but are not getting the expertise around GSRD. I myself have two individual supervisors and am part of a supervision group.
I qualified as a Supervisor in 2016 from the London Gestalt Centre.

I have over 20 years' experience working as a therapist in private practice, in placements and providing funded work such as EAP. I work with adult individuals online and face-to-face from my home on the Norfolk Suffolk border providing both short-term and long-term, open-ended therapy. I have undertaken various trainings with Pink Therapy and Gendered Intelligence for over 15 years as well as well as Somatic Experiencing and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy trauma trainings.
In the early 2000s, I worked for ten years as a mental health advocate and this gave me a good understanding of how the psychiatric / mental health system works.
What the Gestalt approach in respect of supervision appeals to me is its robustness, immediacy and curiosity about the parallel process. It is not necessary for supervisees themselves to have any particular experience of or interest in Gestalt to work with me.
