About the Therapist
I’m an integrative, relational, and trauma-informed counsellor, which means that I work in a range of ways to meet the needs of my clients, incorporating aspects of different therapeutic approaches in response to each person's preference. I consider myself affirming of all aspects of gender, sexual and relationship diversity (GSRD), sex- and kink-positive, and supportive of those who are exploring these aspects. I believe strongly in social justice and equality and am committed to anti-oppressive counselling practice. As well as my own lived experience of being from a mixed heritage background, I also work part-time providing therapy for refugees, asylum seekers, and other clients from ethnically minoritised backgrounds.
