Thomas Noonan-Ganley (Borough/London Bridge)
About the Therapist
I'm an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor offering sessions online and in-person. I'm based next to Borough/London Bridge, easily accessible from both stations. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community I understand the particular range of challenges which can be experienced by us and the impact it can have on life. Equally I work with people on themes unrelated to sexuality/gender/identity but who nevertheless wish to work with a therapist with a more ready understanding and acceptance.
I offer a practice which is non-judgemental and open to work together on your specific needs. Some of the common issues which have come up include:
- Addiction
- Anxiety
- Body issues
- Depression
- Family issues
- Feeling flat/unmotivated
- Identity
- Intimacy
- Isolation
- Loneliness
- Loss of enjoyment/meaning
- Low self-esteem
- Relationship problems
- Sex
- Sexuality
- Shame
- Trauma/PTSD
- Gay

My Approach
I’m an integrative transpersonal therapist. This means I draw on various psychotherapeutic disciplines. I consider not only your life circumstance and history, but also the “bigger picture” of your life and the wider context in which you live, such as society, generational influence, hopes and ambitions.
There are many reasons to work with a counsellor or therapist, and as an integrative therapist my approach is to tailor the therapy to your needs. I believe one of the most important aspects of our work is the therapeutic relationship between client and practitioner. A supportive, compassionate, and trusting therapeutic relationship is the base-line for working through many issues.
My Experience & Background
I've worked in mental-health related fields for over ten years, previously with youth mental-health in the charity sector.
I have an academic background in the philosophy and history of yoga and meditation, and have studied and taught both extensively.
My training as an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor for which I hold a BACP and UKCP accredited diploma. I'm registered with the BACP, and adhere to their ethical frameworks and code of practice.
