About the Therapist
As well as my private practice with individuals and groups, I am a consultant and senior academic. I offer clinical supervision and consultancy to organisations and professionals working in the field of psychotherapy. My specialities include helping with depression, anxiety states, substance misuse, sexual and relationship difficulties, alcohol and drug problems, eating problems, addictions and the impact of trauma and abuse. I have specialist skills in working with LGBT and communities of colour. I am based accessably to Islington/Holloway/Archway/Highate/Hackeny/Stoke Newington/Finsbury Park/Haringey. I currently work with individual and groups face to face and online via Zoom. I have an established face to face psychotherpays group that meets on Monday evenings at 7.15pm and an online group at 8am Thursday mornings. Â

Through the delivery of creative psychotherapeutic educational approaches, I have achieved positive results. These results have been achieved through social work lecturing on managing diversity, mental health, psychoanalytic theory, child protection and infant observation, child development, organizational observation and dynamics, reflective practice, work discussion and risk management.
With 20 years’ experience as a qualified psychotherapist, and 10 years’ as a psychotherapy supervisor, I have been able to deliver creative psychotherapeutic approaches.
- I have a significant and established private psychotherapy practice. I run 4 psychotherapy groups, offer supervision and see individuals. I am a training psychotherapist for 3 psychotherapy organisations. I also offer reflective practice and organisational consultancy.
- I have managed multidisciplinary staff teams up to director level and supervised around mental health, child protection and psychotherapy.
- A lead psychotherapist/senior manager in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- I have conducted groups for adults and adolescents who have suffered from BPD, sexual abuse, eating disorders, managing anger and violence, relationship difficulties and adults who have spent their childhood in the care system.
- An individual and group psychotherapist working with severe and enduring mental illness within the NHS. -Camden Psychodynamic psychotherapy service.
- Organizational consultation on team processes, team building, processing conflict resolution, scoping, setting up new services and diversity.
