About the Therapist
I provide online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy) to support individuals with anxiety and depression. My approach to therapy is to bring warmth and compassion to every session, always adapting to each person I see. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am passionate about providing queer-affirming therapy and endeavour to provide a safe and inclusive space for you to work through any issues you are having in a confidential manner and at a pace that suits you.
I appreciate how scary and intimidating it can be to reach out to someone new (especially a therapist!) for the first time. Having said that, if you are wanting to get help and work through your difficulties to get back to living a meaningful life - I am here to listen. Please reach out to book an initial consultation which is completely free.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) has a strong evidence base and is recommended as a first-line treatment by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence for depression and a range of anxiety disorders. CBT is a collaborative and present-focused therapy - exploring the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. The key idea behind CBT is that we can get 'stuck' in negative thought processes and patterns of unhelpful behaviour which have a detrimental impact on how we feel. In therapy, we will gently explore how these thought processes and behaviours are impacting your life and consider what the alternatives might be - offering you a way to break the cycle of anxiety and depression, achieve your goals and live a more meaningful life.
