About the Therapist
My name is Kirstine Hunter (she/her). Â My background is a humanistic approach, and I have been working with clients for 6 years.
I offer compassion and understanding to whatever you want to explore.
Anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, identity issues and bereavement are just some of the varying issues I have worked with. Together we can explore ways of you feeling less overwhelmed. As I learn to understand the differences of what makes you unique, I adapt my way of working to who you are.

My background as a therapist includes working in many settings. I worked for 4 years in a bereavement setting and 2 years within a LGTBQIA+ charity. I offer short term and long term sessions.
As a therapist who has worked in the bereavement setting, working with loss is a part of my approach. My previous experience of working within the health sector, particularly a cancer setting, has given me a sense of how important understanding loss impacts us. I am curious to understand loss of identity and also finding hope and looking forward. Part of my work includes offering different tools to help strengthen resilience.
