Hi, I'm Charley and I'm a BACP Accredited Counsellor, Pyschotherapist and Supervisor working online and in Leicestershire. I specialise in working with LGBTQIA+ clients across a range of issues. I have extenstive experience of working with Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diverse (GSRD) clients over my 12 years post qualification experience. I have also have experience of supporting clients to navigate through their neurodivergence too. I also offer supervision to individuals and groups within private practice and also working with other organisations. Supervision can be one off sessions or an ongoing supervisory relationship.

Experience and approach:

If you are facing difficulties in your life, feeling stuck, overwhelmed or like your life is out of your control then sitting with an experienced therapist can help. Together we can work out how you are feeling and where you might want to make changes. Therapy can help you to understand all areas of your life more clearly and awareness often leads to real change. It's my belief that it's the therapeutic relationship that holds you through the therapy work and I have lots of experience and training in working relationally with clients.

I specialise in working with LGBTQIA+ people and gender diverse people.

I offer a warm, safe space in which to explore, confidentially, what you are feeling and experiencing now. My aim is to build a compassionate, warm, safe and supportive relationship between us so that I can best help you to feel better. I offer an anti-oppressive space where you can find who you are and feel more confident in your identity.

I have lived experience as an LGBTQ+ identified person and I also have experience in my life of neurodivergence and how this can show up. I undertake lots of CPD activities each year to engage further on these topics and continue my learning and understanding.

I charge £65 per session for individual counselling work, where I work for 50 minutes. For couples' work I charge £80 per session for 60 minute sessions. For supervision I charge £70 per 60 minute individual supervision and £80 per 60 minute group supervision.
