About the Therapist
Alice Human            Dramatherapist
I work in a creative way offering tools to support various ways of communicating your feelings and experiences. I have lots of experience working with LGBTIQA+ people and young people. I very much lead from the person and I what they would like the therapy to explore. I will offer various things like IFS (internal family systems) creative and expressive model, systemic theory, attachment dynamics and relational approaches, movement, play and object work. I am sex positive, kink and ENM friendly.
I have had the privilege to work therapeutically with a wide range of people with extensive experience working with adults and young people who are LGBTQ+, including trans/non- binary and intersex clients.

I have worked with a wide range of queer people and am currently working as a private practitioner in Bristol. I have worked therapeutically with artists, creatives and activists to support creative work with difficult themes that might be autobiographical or have challenging themes like climate grief/homophobia.
I am an activist and engage with themes around burnout and the effects of being engaged in direct action. Â
I am also a facilitator of Gender, Sexuality, Relationship Diversity (GSRD) workshops in various mental health settings and have led work around Betty Martin's 'Wheel of Consent'.
Some key words and themes in my work with people so far:
self harm, suicide, disabilities, neuro-divergence, queerness and identity, depression and anxiety, trans/NB, gender dysphoria, grief and loss, relationships ENM/Poly friendly, breakup trauma, attachment systems, abuse, early trauma, homophobia/transphobia/ableism, direct action and activism work, burnout, adoption and fostering, emotional release and embodiment, creative and expressive, climate grief and internal family systems.
