About the Therapist
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons. You might find yourself putting other people's needs first, so often that you've lost touch with what really matters to you. Perhaps there's a constant pressure to get things right, to be good, to do well, even when it leaves you exhausted. You might be exhausted in a different way too, from explaining yourself, managing other people's reactions, or holding parts of your identity carefully depending on who's in the room. Maybe you're navigating a relationship, a family, or a stage of life that doesn't have a clear script to follow, and you're finding your own way through it. Or you might simply be looking for a space where none of that needs explaining at all.
Whatever brings you here, your reasons are your own, and they matter. I imagine you've already been trying, perhaps for a long time, to figure things out alone or with the support of people close to you. Sometimes we need a different kind of space. One that's just for you.
I offer a relationship that feels safe, grounded, and supportive, so we can explore what's been happening and find more understanding and ease. I'll meet you with curiosity and care, never judgment, and you can say the things you haven't said out loud before. This is a shared process. I won't pretend to have all the answers, but I'll be alongside you as we make sense of things together and work towards change that lasts.
I know it can be hard to take the first step, especially if part of you isn't sure therapy can help. That's okay. You don't need to have it all figured out before we begin. We start from wherever you are.
If you'd like to get a sense of whether we'd be a good fit, I offer a free thirty minute chat before we begin working together.

I'm trained in an approach called Transactional Analysis, which is really about understanding the patterns we develop early in life, often as ways of coping or staying safe, and how those patterns still shape our relationships and choices now. In our work together, this means paying close attention not just to what's happening for you today, but to where those patterns first took root, so they become something you can see and respond to, rather than simply repeat.
I also bring in a trauma informed approach, drawing on ideas from Polyvagal Theory. In practice, that means paying attention to how your nervous system might be responding based on past experience: why certain things feel overwhelming, or why you might shut down or go into survival mode without meaning to. Understanding what's happening underneath often makes it easier to find some gentleness with yourself.
I work mainly with gender, sexuality, and relationship diverse clients, and this is a space where your identity, relationships, and language around them won't need to be explained or justified from scratch. Alongside this, I have a growing interest in working with neurodivergent folk, whether diagnosed or not yet sure if this is part of your story.
