About the Therapist
Hi, I’m Gabriel (he/they).
As a Person-Centred counsellor, my focus is on understanding your unique experience. My own lived experience as a queer and neurodivergent person removes a layer that can otherwise take time to overcome, allowing us to build a genuine human connection where you feel safe and deeply understood from the start.
My diverse background—spanning creative fields like fashion and art, peer mentoring, and even AI productivity—gives me a unique perspective. It’s taught me how to manage long-term projects (like personal growth), the importance of self-expression, and how to use modern tools to provide a responsive and efficient service. My goal is to help you re-build the bridge between simply existing and truly living.
I offer compassionate support for anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, work stress, trauma, and grief.

Grounded in the Person-Centred approach, I believe you are the expert on your own life. We work collaboratively, honouring your pace as you lead your sessions with me by your side. My ability to create an engaging, structured experience, drawn from skills learned in both creative and mentoring roles, helps create a foundation of trust where you can explore difficult feelings and gain self-awareness.
While I welcome everyone, my lived experience provides a particular understanding in these areas:
-
LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Counselling: A respectful space for exploring your identity, relationships, or simply being yourself without explanation. I support clients with everyday challenges like anxiety and stress, bringing a deep understanding of how minority stress can impact well-being. You are welcome here, exactly as you are.
-
Neurodiversity-Affirming Counselling: Deep respect for your unique way of experiencing the world, whether you identify as autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent. This is a space that rejects the need for masking and adapts to your communication style, allowing us to focus on self-understanding, managing burnout, and celebrating your strengths.
My affirming stance is intersectional. I am committed to providing a deeply informed and safe space for all members of our diverse community. This means my practice is explicitly:
-
Racial Justice Allied: I am committed to an anti-racist practice and equipped to support clients, particularly LGBTQ+ People of Colour, in processing racial trauma and navigating systemic oppression.
-
Sex Worker Allied: I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space for individuals in the sex industry to discuss any aspect of their life and work.
-
HIV / AIDS Allied: I provide a stigma-free, knowledgeable, and supportive environment for individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
