I qualified with an MSc. in Integrative Psychotherapy in 2020, after completing the Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2017, both at Metanoia Institute. I completed my Diploma in Supervision at The Minster Centre in January 2024. I also hold a Foundation in Art Therapy from City University.

I have a private practice of mostly LGBTQ clients. I also work for Bapam (British Association of Performing Arts Medicine) on a freelance basis, providing short-term therapy to performers and musicians. Many of my clients are neurodivergent.

Experience and approach:

I am easy to talk to, non-judgemental and have an open attitude in which supervisees can explore client dynamics, anxieties contained and unconscious processes may emerge and be better understood.

Trust is important. I am relational by nature and strive to reduce the power dynamic and the capacity for shame within supervision, particularly for trainees. Although I take my role as a supervisor extremely seriously I work with humour and creativity.

I see supervisees across modalities and enjoy the richness this brings to the work.

While training I had a voluntary placement at London Friend, a charity for LGBTQ+ Londoners that provides short-term counselling. I am now a freelance supervisor at London Friend. These years, as well as my private clients and my personal experience have given me considerable insight into the struggles and delights of being LGBTQ, including with the additional complexities of other intersections.

My approach as a therapist is informed by neuroscience. I encourage interoception and using the body as a resource. As a supervisor I offer my experience as well as professional support and encouragement.
