About the Therapist
I am a queer cis woman, and I am also white, fat, and have physical disability. I am originally from the US, and now live in Scotland. I have been a psychotherapist for 12 years, after having been a sociological health researcher for many years. I've lived in four countries, and am a parent of an adopted daughter. It has been a long and interesting journey in my life to be where I am today. I am honoured to be able to be a therapist and to hold time and space with you.

I have worked solely in private practice since 2019, and have worked exclusively online since 2020. Prior to working in private practice I also worked in a general practitioner (family medicine) office, providing counselling, psychotherapy, and supportive case management to the practice's patients. As a feminist psychotherapist, I support clients in being empowered in your own abilities to meet your own goals. You are the expert on yourself - not me! I also recognise and attend to the power differentials which are part of the therapeutic process, both by its design and by the identities you and I both bring into the therapeutic space.

Sessions are £75.
Longer sessions can also be arranged, pro-rata per quarter hour. I also offer reduced rates for marginalised, low-income individuals, with limited availability. Please reach out with any questions, as my goal is to make therapy accessible to you.
