About the Therapist
I am empathetic, kind, and non-judgmental, and I will strive to understand your experiences. Anti-oppression is at the heart of my practice. While I may challenge your patterns of feeling, thinking, and behaving at times, working through these challenges is essential for fostering positive change. Together, we can rediscover the parts of yourself that may have been hidden under the pressures of family dynamics and socio-cultural constructs, allowing us to move away from the "shoulds" and make space for your authentic needs.

I specialise in working with depression, anxiety, anger issues, and challenges related to self-identity and interpersonal relationships - including domestic and narcissistic abuse. A typical treatment plan may involve exploring your childhood to deepen your understanding of who you are and why. I will also encourage you to experiment with new behaviours, helping you discover alternative solutions to your challenges.
Additionally, we can examine the socio-political and cultural forces that may have shaped your family system, along with the unhelpful models you may have inherited from both. Currently, I have availability for remote clients only - with the potential to transition to face-to-face in the future. Whether you're uncertain about therapy or not, you can choose between short-term therapy (14 sessions for individuals and 10 for couples) or open-ended therapy, depending on what best suits your needs.
We will start with a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs, with the option for a video call if you prefer. During this time, I'll also ask some questions to determine if we're a good fit. If we decide to work together, our first session will include a assessment to help me develop a general picture, from which we can begin your therapeutic journey.
