I tend to work relationally - I believe that our relationship, you and I, can often act as a cipher to understand what might be happening in other areas of your life. So I want to create a space in which you can bring yourself fully, and we can begin to explore what might be going on for you, both in the room and outside it.

Experience and approach:

I am an integrative, relational therapist, which means a few things. Integrative means that I have worked with a number of different ways of doing therapy and tend to bob-and-weave between them depending on the direction and needs of the client. Relational means that I believe that the relationship between you and I matters. Evidence shows that the effectiveness of therapy correlates to the strength of the relationship between client and therapist. But more than that, I think client-therapist relationships can often mirror other relationships in the client's life. That's an invitation to be curious about us. We can bring ourselves more fully into the space.
