I work with people experiencing many different types of issues, often related to their life experiences, which can result in anxiety and low mood but also feeling that they aren't living their lives as they would wish.
As an integrative practitioner, I employ a range of approaches to provide therapy responsive to the individual, tailored to their specific needs. I am trained and experienced in cognitive therapy approaches, including, CBT, ACT, and CAT. However, a person-centred philosophy is at the heart of my work and so we can work with specific techniques and tools where this is helpful. I always aim to provide a warm, empathic and effective therapeutic space, where the client's needs are centred.

Typically, the first one or two sessions will help us create a shared understanding of the issues and develop a plan to address these. Some clients prefer their therapy to be open ended, while others favour a fixed number of sessions.
