Hello, I’m Damian, a qualified and registered therapeutic counsellor with a passion for empowering individuals through tailored support. With a diverse background in both therapy and education, I have had the privilege of delivering impactful workshops on topics such as:“Men’s Mental Health,” “Counselling Skills for Teachers,” “Growing Up Gay,” “Support for Parents of LGBTQI Children,” and “Incorporating Equality and Diversity into the Curriculum” to industry professionals.I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Diploma in Teaching within the Lifelong Learning Sector. My practice has been enriched by working with diverse groups, including individuals from the Black and Asian communities, the LGBTQI+ community (including Trans, Gay, Bisexual, and Lesbian individuals), men struggling with anxiety, as well as performing artists and creatives.In addition to my therapeutic work, I spent 10 years as a performer in the West End and 17 years as a teacher. This experience has afforded me the opportunity to work in pastoral roles, lead enrichment community groups, and guide educators in understanding the importance of intersectionality.My hope is to help clients not just survive but thrive—providing a safe space where they can explore their emotions, build coping mechanisms, and ultimately find clarity and comfort on their journey toward personal growth.
