Dr Kate Marks
About the Therapist
Personally, i identify as she/ they, pansexual/ demisexual and relate with others in the way the best-fits me and the relational context. I do not identify as practicing either monogamy or ENM (though have previously identified as both), but more in wanting relationships that are truthful expressions of wants and needs. This allows me to work flexibly with whatever relationship structure you may be in or seeking.Â

I have trained in many therapeutic modalities over the years and worked in many different contexts (public sector, charity and independent practice). I work in a collaborative way with clients, together developing an idiosyncratic psychological ever-emerging understanding of you. From here, we will together decide what intervention goals and models may be most useful. I have reviews as we go, to keep checking that what we are doing is actually still in service to your hopes and needs.Â

Sessions are provided online via zoom. Days and times are flexible, though limited evening and weekend slots. GDPR and therapeutic information will be provided prior to an initial appointment via email.Â
An initial 15 minute zoom is provided for free for us both to feel in to whether it is a good fit.Â
Sessions with one individual are £120 per session.
Sessions with couples or more, start at £135 per session
Reductions are possible with packages (i.e., purchasing six sessions at once).Â
I am flexible about frequency, though tend to suggest an initial agreement of six weekly or fortnightly sessions. We can then review frequency and what works best clinically and financially.
I do have reduced rate sessions available, there tends to be a waiting list for these sessions. The rates for these are £80 per session.Â
