About the Therapist
Being neurodivergent and part of the LGBTQ+ community means I’m passionate about supporting clients who feel they don’t always fit the usual mould. I appreciate how hard it can be to live in a world that often makes little room for difference, and I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and truly accepted.
I’m a Humanistic and Integrative therapist, which means our relationship is central and the way we work will be shaped by you. I don’t come in with a clipboard and a plan (well, maybe sometimes!) I bring my whole self to our work together with compassion, openness, humour and a touch of messiness where needed. Therapy can hold both the hard stuff and moments of lightness, it’s a space for grief, anger, fear but also for love, connection and relief. Sometimes we need to cry, sometimes we need to swear, and sometimes we need to laugh at the chaos of it all. There’s room for all of that with me.
As someone with ADHD, I understand how hard it can be to sit still, stay focused, or keep your inner critic quiet. I work with many neurodiverse clients, and therapy with me is never about making you more “normal.” It’s about making space for who you really are - fidget toys, tangents, info‑dumps and all.
I also bring my lived experience as a queer person to the room. Whether you’re navigating shame, coming out, exploring gender or sexuality, healing religious trauma, or just craving a space where you can speak freely, this is a place where you don’t have to explain or defend who you are, a space you can breathe and feel safe.

I have a number of years experience working with individuals who have lived through traumatic experiences, including domestic violence and sexual abuse, from my work with Women's Aid and in private practice. My own life experiences have helped shape the way that I work, offering a safe, trusting, loving environment where we go at your pace and explore, or simply sit alongside, what is causing you difficulty.
My core approach is rooted in the Humanistic therapies so I hold the belief that there is nothing wrong with you and you don't need to be fixed, you hold the answers within you and I'm here to support you to gently uncover them; empowering you to become the person you have always been without the noise other peoples' opinions getting in the way.
I am also a qualified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist which can be especially helpful for trauma, allowing you to process distressing experiences in a way that feels safe, reduce their emotional impact, and move from surviving to truly living.
I deeply value your uniqueness so adapt my approach to meet you where you are, often working creatively; using metaphor and imagery to help you make sense of your inner world. I have a key interest in Internal Family Systems therapy so will welcome all parts of you into the room, treating each with tenderness and curiosity. These approaches can be especially powerful for the moments when words are too much, not enough, or when emotions feel too overwhelming to face directly.
Above all, I believe therapy is a collaborative process; a space where we can be real, messy, thoughtful and kind. Whether you’re coming with a clear goal or just a sense that something isn’t right, we’ll figure it out together. There’s no need to mask, filter or squeeze yourself into a box here.
If that sounds like the kind of space you’ve been looking for, pop me a message, I’d love to hear from you, exactly as you are.

Our first chat is a 20-minute consultation taking place via Zoom or phone call (whichever is your preference) and is completely free. This is a chance for us to meet, for you to get a sense of who I am and how I work and to talk about what you’re looking for. This time will help us get a feel for whether we’re a good fit.
Ongoing therapy sessions are £60 for 50 minutes. This includes talking therapy, creative work, and parts-based approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS).
If we’re working with EMDR, sessions are also £60 during the preparation and resourcing phase. Once we move into the reprocessing stage, EMDR sessions are £100, reflecting the depth and specialist nature of that work with extended sessions of 90 minutes.
I offer a small number of sliding scale spaces for people experiencing financial difficulty - these are limited, but please do reach out if cost is a barrier.
Fees are reviewed each November.
