Stephen Morris
About the Therapist
My responsibility as a psychotherapist is to provide a safe space for us to think and work together to address things that are impacting on the quality of your life. The confidential process can be used to consider life’s challenging and sometimes painful experiences. Meeting on a regular basis will assist you in gaining insight and understanding. It can also provide a foundation from which to make changes to destructive or unhelpful behaviour patterns and to discover ways forward with greater peace of mind.

I am qualified to provide Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. (DBT). I can provide both in-person and online appointments. Once you have made contact with me, we will arrange an initial meeting. We use this meeting as an opportunity for you to gain a sense of me and you will be able to explain your reasons for seeking therapy, I will invite you to tell me a little bit about your life history and clarify with you what you would hope to achieve. Before making a commitment, we will discuss the practicalities of time, cost, confidentiality etc and you will be able to ask me any questions you may have. Where possible I offer a flexible approach and throughout our work together I will review the process with you to ensure we conclude the work at the right time.
