About the Therapist
I am a qualified person centred counsellor, and as such my counselling technique is based on the three main tenents of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard. To me these translate as, I will work with you in an open and honest way, that is caring, compassionate and non-judgemental.
As a counsellor, I’ll work at your pace while we work together through the issues which you feel are blocking you, and that you may be struggling with.
My hope is that you will experience the counselling environment as a safe space, which will allow you to open up and talk about everything that is on your mind.
I see our relationship as something that is pivotal to us working well together, and I feel the best way to achieve this is to have open and honest communication within the counselling relationship.

I have over ten years experience working as a person-centred therapist. I first started working within charitable organizations (mainly LGBTQ+), before setting up my own private practice in 2017.
I work both in-person and online (via Zoom), and my clients range from individuals to couples/throuples.
Person-centred therapy – also known as person-centred counselling or client-centred counselling – is a humanistic approach that deals with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas.
