About the Therapist
Are you struggling on your journey through life? You may feel unsure of your identity or out of step with the world around you; perhaps you’re having difficulty with a pattern of behaviour or a relationship that you know is harmful, but you can’t seem to move on or change things for the better. As a therapist with substantial experience in working with clients from the LGBTQ+ community, I can work with you in a safe, accepting way to help you gain a fresh perspective on what has been troubling you. Building on this, we can work together to help you make positive, lasting changes to your behaviour and state of mind so you can find your authentic self and live your best life, as honestly and openly as you wish.

As an integrative counsellor I use a variety of methods, so I can tailor my approach to you. My main approach is transactional analysis, which is useful in helping us understand how past experiences can negatively affect us in the present; by using it to work collaboratively, we can develop practical tools and techniques that, going forward, will help you to live authentically.I have thousands of hours of experience in working with clients, both in private practice and in the NHS. Also, I am a qualified supervisor: I work with other counsellors on helping them improve their practice.I offer a free 25 minute consultation, so you can ask me any questions you’d like before working with me.
