Charlotte Tipping
About the Therapist
I’m Charlotte, and I’m passionate about supporting people to step out of the shadows of who the world says they should be, and into the truth of who they are. Therapy with me is about finding the courage to know yourself, become your own best friend, and celebrate your uniqueness rather than suppress it.
I have experience working with a wide range of people, including many who are neurodivergent. I particularly enjoy supporting clients with ADHD and autism, valuing the creativity, insight, and resilience that often come with different ways of seeing the world.
Relationships are central to our wellbeing, and I offer a space to explore the connections you want to build — whether platonic or romantic, monogamous or non-monogamous, with friends, partners, or chosen family.
At the heart of my work is a belief in your capacity for growth and joy. I see therapy as a journey of rediscovery, where you can connect with yourself more deeply and create relationships and a life that feel true to you.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the BACP. I have over 20 years’ experience working with young people and adults around anxiety, low self-esteem, identity, trauma, and substance misuse. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, particularly those with ADHD and autism.
Alongside my core training, I have completed specialist training in outdoor therapy, and I am currently expanding my work to include the connection between body, movement, and emotions. I also use creative approaches such as music and art to help clients express themselves and explore their experiences in new ways.
My approach is integrative, drawing on Transactional Analysis, Family Systems Therapy, and trauma-informed practice. I aim to create a safe, affirming, and welcoming space where clients of all genders, sexualities, and relationship styles can explore who they are, build self-understanding, and discover ways of living and connecting that feel authentic to them.
