About the Therapist
Making the decision to reach out for therapy can be a difficult and even daunting task. I'm here to offer you a safe, non-judgmental space in which we can explore your difficulties and what is important to you, and work towards healing together.
As a queer, autistic therapist, I am aware that therapy can be especially nerve-wracking to consider for LGBT+ and neurodiverse individuals. I prioritise empathy and unconditional positive regard in my work, and aim to provide a space where you will not have to defend your gender or sexuality, and where you are encouraged to be wholly yourself - if you want to stim, or have your camera off during sessions, that's absolutely fine!
I am committed to anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice. I am continuously engaging with research, training, and self-reflection to ensure I provide a safe and affirmative space for my clients. I will always work with you to understand both our similarities and differences without making assumptions.

I am an integrative practitioner, meaning that I use different therapeutic theories, models and approaches to tailor the therapy to a given client, because I don't believe in a one-size-fits all approach for therapy (or indeed for most other things in life). I ground myself in the Person-Centred approach, and mainly draw from the following:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Compassion-Focused Therapy
- Emotion-Focused Therapy
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Plural Selves
As your therapist, I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where you can be unapologetically yourself and talk about whatever you want. I will help you decide how you want to use your time for therapy, and what you want to work towards together. I will ensure that we stay focused on your goals throughout our sessions.
As a practitioner, I believe strongly in curating compassion and kindness to yourself and others. I feel that therapy is a space to first learn to acknowledge and accept all parts of yourself, so that you can then grow as a person, emotionally and psychologically. My aim is to help clients understand themselves, accept themselves, and support them in their journeys, whatever these may look like.
