About the Therapist
My aim is to provide inclusive therapy for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, understanding that our experiences as queer people are not generalised and are a complex web of intersectionality.
In my practice I work to empower you, rather than to diagnose or dictate advice on what I think you "should" do.
Together we will explore feelings and emotions to help you understand what is needed in the here and now, and how you can make relevant change. My focus is on establishing trust and creating a safe environment where you feel valued and understood.
What I can help with...
Life transitions, relationships, sexuality, prejudice and discrimination, sex-related issues, sexual identity, self esteem, depression, anxiety, bereavement, and loss.
I am experienced working with a range of clients, including young people (18-25), in several different charities throughout the city, and running sessions in a variety of environments and spaces.
I previously worked as a performer and am still a creative. I understand the difficulties of creative industries, with a vast experience of working in theatre, film and tv, and the creative industries. I bring this expertise into my practice.

For me, the most important part of therapy is the warm and open relationship between therapist and client. I like people, and I enjoy working with clients who are interested in developing a deeper understanding of themselves.
I offer an informal chat before our first session so we can get to know one another and understand our expectations of working together - so drop me a message to find out more. I predominantly work online, but can sometimes offer face-to-face sessions.
I find that working online to be equally as effective as in-person sessions. Clients have also told me about other benefits to online sessions, such as: flexibility, increased comfort by being in their own space, avoiding the stress of travel, and avoiding potentially noisy therapy spaces and waiting rooms.
