About the Therapist
Coming to therapy is often a new and daunting experience;Â you might have a very clear goal that you want to work towards, or you might know that something needs to change but be unsure what.Â
I work with you to build a safe space where you can express yourself authentically so that we can explore your experiences and understand the challenges that you are facing. People seek therapy for a wide range of reasons, from anxiety and depression to burnout, complex relationships and difficulties navigating modern society.Â
I have two main areas of speciality;Â
- The challenges of living in modern society: Existing as a queer or neurodivergent individual in modern society can be difficult, even traumatic. I work to build a therapeutic relationship where all aspects of your self and identity are welcomed to promote self-understanding, acceptance, and to explore the impact of existing in social systems that may not have been designed with us in mind. Understanding the social norms and expectations that we all internalise can help empower you to decide how you want to navigate your life.Â
- Childhood trauma: The difficulties that we experience during childhood can change the way that we experience the world, leading to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or difficulties in relationships. Understanding the impact of your childhood can help you to build a more compassionate relationship with yourself and allow to your process the complex feelings that childhood trauma can cause. I have a particular interest in working with clients who have experienced complex family dynamics, childhood emotional abuse or neglect.
I offer both short and long term therapy to suit your needs. Upon initial contact we will arrange an assessment to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, how we might work together and review whether you would like to start sessions.
I offer online or face to face sessions at the Worcester Therapy Space.Â

I am a registered counsellor (BACP) and I am currently completing my final year of training as a psychotherapist (BACP).Â
I have a MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy from The University of Warwick (pending final exam boards), as well as a PgDip (L6) and PgCert (L5) equivalent.
My postgraduate research explored how therapists' training prepares them to work with neurodivergent clients.Â
My undergraduate research focused on student mental health and proposed an early intervention model to promote prevention and support high school age students to learn how to manage their mental health.Â

I am an integrative therapist which means that I pull from a range of different modalities to make sure that our work is tailored to your needs. I draw on relational developmental, person centered, and psychodynamic approaches, as well as looking at your experiences through a wider societal lens.
I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship to foster trust and co-create a space where you can feel safe and accepted. In our work I aim to honour all parts of you, and meet your experiences with curiosity so that we can explore them together.Â
