Heidi McCallion
About the Therapist
Hi, I'm Heidi. An integrative psychotherapist with 10 years experience supporting people who feel stuck in their own inner messiness—helping you gently untangle it, find clarity, and embrace your whole self. Unfiltered, real, and wonderfully human.
I work in person and online with adults, university students, teenagers, and children (5–12), combining creative approaches with talking therapy to suit what best fits you.
I’m here to speak directly to LGBTQIA+ clients and offer a space where you can feel seen, heard, and validated—without having to educate your therapist on what it means to be part of this community. Whether you want to explore identity, belonging, relationships, or simply bring topics that have nothing to do with being LGBTQIA+, you’re welcome here.
As someone who identifies as lesbian/queer and has experience of being a parent within the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand the nuances of navigating identity and finding your place in the world. Likely you want to find a space where your sexual and gender identity can co-exist within the therapeutic discussion alongside other life topics, without feeling you need to educate your therapist on what it means to be part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

With 10 years’ experience across the NHS, education and private sector, I value working authentically through real-life stuff. I’m not into stating a huge shopping list of ‘problems’ I support. And I don’t subscribe to the trend of having one perfectly marketed niche. I sit somewhere in-between, focusing on relationships, attachments, trauma and sense of self whilst also meeting real people where they are, with their imperfectly packaged lives. No jargon, no hierarchy, no AI. Just two people connecting over real stuff.
My Approach
My work is relational: the relationship we build is at the heart of everything. Therapy isn’t just about qualifications and fancy techniques, it’s about trust and feeling safe.
And if we can share a laugh and a tear, even better. I also strongly encourage a good brew in hand whilst we work together.
