About the Therapist
Hi, I’m Chris.I’m a queer-identifying therapist (he/him) and a proud, GSRD affirming member of the LGBTQ+ community, based near Belfast in Northern Ireland. I know how exhausting it can be to navigate the world while constantly adapting, masking or questioning whether you’re “too much” or “not enough”. Many of the people I work with are outwardly functioning but inwardly tired, carrying stress, self-doubt, burnout, or questions around identity, boundaries or people-pleasing. You don’t need to educate me about who you are here, and you don’t need to have the right words. We start where you are. I work online across the UK and offer therapy that is affirming, respectful and grounded in real human connection. I currently have availability for new clients some weekday mornings. Evening sessions are by request and an additional £10.

My career began in learning and development 25 years ago, with a specialised focus on wellbeing and mental health since establishing my business in 2012. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of helping thousands of people to develop a stronger and more resilient mindset through training and solution-focused coaching. Therapy clients often tell me that they love this practical approach to learning that I can balance alongside my therapeutic experience. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced around you. I won’t analyse you from a distance or tell you how to live your life. Instead, we pay attention to what’s happening for you, how patterns have formed, and what it feels like to be in relationships (including the one that we build together). My approach draws from Person-Centred therapy, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. In practice, that means I’m less interested in labels or quick solutions and more interested in your lived experience and what helps you feel more at ease in yourself. I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way and welcome clients who are diagnosed, self-identified or questioning. You’re welcome to bring your whole self, leaving nothing out.
