I am a qualified BACP-registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor, working with LGBTQ+ clients from rooms in Hackney, East London and online. As a gay man, I know the specific challenges faced by members of our community. You will be met with understanding, not judgement.

I appreciate how difficult it can be to ask for help and am committed to creating a space in which all clients, especially those who might be in two minds about therapy, feel listened to and understood. I value warmth, openness, creativity and human dignity. Together we can explore what it is like to be you, whatever you may be grappling with.

I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ clients through Elop, the UK's largest queer counselling service, as well as with students and young people at Imperial College's Student Counselling and Mental Health Service.

I trained on the MA programme in Psychotherapy and Counselling (Existential Pathway) at Regent's University in London. Before retraining as a therapist I worked for 15+ years as a journalist, holding senior roles at several national newspapers. This grounding in curiosity, clarity and directness continues to shape my therapy work.

Speaking with a therapist can help you explore your feelings, clarify what it is that you are experiencing, and take a stand on how to respond. It can help your take responsibility for your own existence and live your life with courage, resilience and wholeheartedness.
