About the Therapist
My Approach: The Skilled Helper
I work relationally, building a trusting partnership where you feel safe to explore and grow. My framework is based on the Skilled Helper Model, which provides a clear, three-stage map for our work together:
- Exploration: Understanding your story and current challenges.
- Vision: Identifying what you want your "preferred future" to look like.
- Action: Developing the strategies and tools to get you there.
As an integrative therapist, I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" approach. Instead, I blend three core modalities to suit your specific needs:
- Person-Centred (PCA): Ensuring you are heard without judgment, placing your lived experience at the center of the work.
- Psychodynamic: Exploring how your past experiences and hidden patterns might be influencing your present-day feelings and behaviors.
- CBT: Providing practical tools to manage "here and now" challenges, such as anxiety, by looking at the link between your thoughts and actions.
Creative Therapy for Creative People
Creativity is the heartbeat of my practice. I believe we all communicate differently—while some find clarity in words, others express themselves through metaphors, writing, drawing, or movement. I work with you to find your unique "language," using imaginative approaches to gain deeper insights into your life.

Although I work with a wide variety of presenting issues, I have a particular interest and experience in working with -Â
- Anxiety & Worry: Finding calm through emotional regulation and breaking cycles of overwhelm.
- Burnout & Career Navigation: From the bureaucracy of large corporations to the "multiple hats" of small businesses, I help you find fulfillment and set healthy boundaries.
- Relationship Issues: Improving communication and building more authentic connections.
- Neurodiversity: I work from a neuro-affirming perspective, focusing on your unique strengths rather than seeing differences as "deficits." Having worked extensively with neurodiversity in professional settings, I can help you navigate workplace environments, advocate for your needs, and develop sustainable work strategies that honour your style.
- Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals. My practice is informed by my professional development as a mentee within the Pink Therapy mentoring program and completing the A-Z LGBTQ+ training through MindOut.Â
