About the Therapist
I am Chris, a qualified UKCP counsellor and psychotherapist based in East London, passionate about working with people from all walks of life. I offer an inclusive, affirming and collaborative space for individuals, couples and families of all genders, sexualities, backgrounds, ages, abilities, neurotypes and relationship structures.  As a supervisor-in-training, I am deepening my practice to support other practitioners in their own personal and professional journeys.
I offer counselling, psychotherapy, mediation and business coaching to individuals, couples, families and groups. I am passionate about helping people through their relational problems to make meaningful change and find better connections with themselves and others.
I am an integrative therapist, specialising in Relational Transactional Analysis (TA), which means that I bring together all the different aspects of my training and experience to find the best way of working with each individual.

My roots in Relational TA combine Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy, which can be used to understand and change unhelpful patterns of thinking. In practice, that means that I foster a more equal relationship between us, so if there’s something you’re not happy with or disagree with, you can tell me and explore it together.
I believe the single most important aspect of successful therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. I therefore invite you to come as you are so we can talk comfortably. I can help you make better sense of your experiences, thoughts and feelings. Together we can discover meanings, recognise patterns, and explore your options.

I work in-room (Dalston and City Road) and online and sessions are 50 minutes long.
Individual therapy
Safe and caring sessions, co-created with you to explore and work through the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are causing you difficulties. I offer weekly sessions, usually at a regular time each week. The number of sessions depends on what changes you would like to make, and is something we would review together. Some issues I regularly work with include:
-
Anxiety and stress
-
Depression and low mood
-
Life and identity transitions
-
Relationship issues
- Self-esteem and inner conflict
Individual session fee: £80
Relationship therapy
Impartial, supportive and appropriately challenging sessions, for couples and any other relationship constellations to understand entrenched patterns of behaviour, resolve conflicts, or simply to improve communication and understanding of each other. The stage of your relationship and expectations will inform the frequency and number of sessions we decide on. Relationship issues I regularly work with include:
-
Changing relationship structures
-
Separation and divorce
-
Life changes and transitions
-
Communication and misunderstanding
-
The impact of trauma
Relationship session fee: £120
Family therapy
Professional support for families, friends or colleagues to understand and work through the difficulties in their ‘family system’. Through gentle challenge and exploration of one another’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours, each ‘family’ member will gain insight into each other’s differences, improve communication and connection, and make constructive changes. Groups and family issues I regularly work with include:
-
Gender and sexual identities
-
Separation and divorce
-
The impact of trauma
-
Neurodivergence
-
Fostering and adoption
-
Major life changes and bereavement
Family therapy fee: £120
Supervision
I offer reflective and supportive supervision for UKCP registered psychotherapists and BACP accredited counsellors, as well as supporting Transactional Analysis, humanistic and integrative trainees through their psychotherapy training. I believe that mutuality, curiosity and an authentic relationship are essential for therapists to be empowered and challenged in their professional development. While I am in training at TA East and refining my supervision philosophy, I am offering a discounted rate of £40.
