Maya Price
About the Therapist
My name is Maya Price. I’m an integrative therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, neurodivergent people, and those navigating identity, trauma, loss, and change.
I’m a trans, neurodivergent (AuDHD) woman, and my lived experience informs my work alongside professional training. I offer online therapy to adults (18+), working primarily with trans women, sex workers, trans and gender-diverse adults, and other LGBTQIA+ clients where there is a good relational fit.
I provide a calm, affirming therapy space where you don’t need to explain or defend who you are. Therapy with me is collaborative, consent-led, and attentive to power, boundaries, and safety. I work exclusively online and support clients internationally.

Many people come to me after long periods of coping, managing expectations, staying alert to others, or carrying responsibility without much support. I’m less interested in “fixing” you, and more interested in understanding how you learned to survive, and what might help you feel safer, more grounded, and more at home in yourself.
My work is trans-affirming, sex-worker-affirming, kink-aware, body-positive, deeply LGBTQIA+ affirming, and actively anti-racist. I practise with awareness of the social, cultural, and political contexts that shape our lives, particularly for trans people, sex workers, and other marginalised communities.
I’m an integrative therapist grounded in person-centred therapy, with influences from inner child work, transactional analysis, relational therapy, and trauma-informed practice. Therapy is paced to your nervous system and shaped collaboratively - we can work gently or more actively, reflectively or practically, depending on what feels supportive and safe.
Alongside my therapy practice, I’ve held leadership, training, and safeguarding roles, including as co-founder, co-CEO, and Designated Safeguarding Lead of the LGBTQIA+ organisation Proud2Be. This experience informs my work, particularly around boundaries, care, and responsibility.
