About the Therapist
Just over ten years ago, I found myself where you are. After two years of struggling with anxiety and panic attacks, frustration and desperation finally pushed me to seek support—even though I didn’t really see how talking to someone for an hour a week could help! Yet it did. Over time, I came to believe in the power of counselling so much that I decided to train as a therapist to support others the way I was supported.
To make a long story short, it turned out that what I personally needed was to feel like I had someone in my corner. Once I felt that support, I was able to do the work to not only find my way out of anxiety, but into a life more aligned with who I truly am.
I believe that many of our difficulties arise when we live out of alignment with our true selves. While we often treat the mind and body as separate, they are two sides of the same coin. Anxiety, depression, or physical tension are often the body’s way of asking us to pause and take stock.

My practice is rooted in the Person-Centred approach, meaning our relationship is the foundation of our work. However, because every individual is unique, I work integratively. This means I draw from a variety of therapeutic tools tailored specifically to what you need in the moment.
I also believe that knowledge is power. Learning about counselling theories helped me understand my own patterns and behaviours more clearly, which is why I incorporate psychoeducation when beneficial. Understanding the "why" behind our reactions can be a vital step in regaining control. Crucially, we always go at your pace. There is no pressure to dive into difficult topics before you are ready.
My personal experience and professional interests include:
- Anxiety & Nervous System Regulation
- Attachment Patterns & Trauma
- Neurodivergence
- Sexuality
- Supporting survivors of sexual abuse
