About the Therapist
I am an integrative counsellor which means I use different approaches to suit your needs. This flexibility allows me to work with you in a way that works best for you, whether that involves exploring emotions, understanding past experiences, or addressing present challenges.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and that you are the expert on you. We can explore your experiences to uncover insights and pathways forward. My approach also acknowledges the importance of cultural and environmental influences, respecting the diversity of backgrounds and identities each individual brings to counselling.

I understand how important it is to ensure that LGBTQ+ people can access individual counselling confident that they will be accepted, listened to, and not have to explain their gender or sexuality. I also work with people exploring and questioning their sexuality and / or gender, and all the other issues that come with being human. I understand that we are not all the same and we will each have parts of our identity that intersect and impact our experience. As a feminist I recognise the different power systems that exist and the impact of these individually and collectively. I will not make assumptions about you but instead be open to listening and exploring what you need.

I offer a free 20 minute initial meeting for you to ask any questions and to see if we are a good fit.Sessions are 50 minutes and cost between £40 and £65 depending on ability to pay.I believe in improving access to therapy for those groups for whom cost is so often a barrier. Because of this I do not ask for proof of income, and largely clients determine for themselves what they can afford within the suggested range.
