I have worked in mental health for 7 years, and in addition to being a fully qualified psychotherapist/counsellor with the BACP, I am also an almost qualified Counselling Psychologist, and I am committed to offering client centred therapy which is informed by psychological theory and research.
I work integratively from a trauma-informed perspective and aim to create a warm and supportive environment where clients feel safe, heard, and able to express themselves without fear of judgement and depending on your needs and goals, I draw on a variety of approaches, including Person-Centred/Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative therapy, and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I also incorporate some elements and tools and techniques from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).
I have worked in a wide range of settings including the NHS, charity and private organisations, and have supported people with a range of difficulties including anxiety, stress, depression, grief and bereavement, trauma and cPTSD, OCD, personality-related difficulties, health conditions, and relationship challenges. I also have lots of experience working with Neurodivergent clients (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia etc.) and clients who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

My fee is £70 per session but I do have concessionary rates available for those who might need it/be eligible, please enquire.
It is important for clients to work with a therapist that they feel comfortable with and is the "right fit" so I also offer a free 15 min introductory consultation for new clients to discuss their therapeutic needs and share how I work.
