Tommy Howse
About the Therapist
My practice is rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself is where healing begins, offering a space to explore how we relate to others: a kind of dress-rehearsal for life outside the therapy room. I also bring an existential perspective, welcoming questions around purpose, belonging, and mortality.
I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor (MBACP 01021495), drawing on a range of frameworks to find the approach that best fits each individual client. These approaches include Gestalt, CBT, Attachment theory, and Transactional Analysis. I have particular experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and neurodiverse clients.
I offer both short and long-term work, available in person and online. Before working together, I offer a free 15-minute phone call, after which we can decide if we would like to explore an initial consultation.
I work with a wide variety of issues including the following:
- ADHD
- Anger
- Anxiety and Stress
- Autism
- Depression and Low Mood
