Toni Hird-Hall
About the Therapist
My name is Toni Hird-Hall and I am a Psychotherapist working with adults and young people aged 13+. I offer sessions online and in person across Hertfordshire and West Essex.
I work with a range of experiences, including anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, loss, relationship difficulties, identity, emotional overwhelm and life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent people, and those exploring sexuality, sexual wellbeing, relationship diversity, ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, kink and BDSM.
As someone diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I know how powerful it can be to feel genuinely understood rather than judged, dismissed or misunderstood. I aim to offer a warm, affirming and accepting space where all parts of you are welcome, including the parts you may have learned to hide.

My approach is rooted in the belief that meaningful change can happen when we feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted. Therapy is not about being told what to do or being shaped into someone else’s idea of who you should be. It is a space where we can slow things down, make sense of what is happening, and explore your experiences together at a pace that feels right for you.
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some people want to talk things through, some need time to build trust, and others find that creative tools can help them express things that are hard to put into words. Depending on what feels useful for you, we might use conversation, reflection, creative activities, cards, objects, visual tools or gentle prompts to help explore your thoughts and feelings.
