Counselling for anxiety and overwhelm
About the Therapist
I have knowledge and understanding of an array of common mental health problems and hope to assist you in finding ways to cope with the internal and external pressures of life.
I am particularly interested in the person-centred approach to counselling, in which the client is empowered to be the expert in their own life. As a queer-affirming and neuro-affirming practitioner, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to gain a clearer perception of themselves and work towards positive psychological growth.
It is through our relationships that we understand who we are and how we relate to others and the world. I therefore believe that, in order to change and grow, the therapeutic relationship is key.

As an integrative therapist with a person-centred focus, my style is about building a trusting, authentic relationship with my clients whilst creating a safe space to explore whatever is needed. Sometimes, I draw from other modalities such as CBT, psychoanalysis and attachment theory, but as the client, you will always be in control.
