Jamie Plaumer
About the Therapist
My name is Jamie. I’m a psychodynamic counsellor (Registered Member MBACP) offering individual counselling in Glasgow.
My approach seeks to move beyond managing symptoms by exploring the underlying causes of recurring difficulties. I pay attention to what’s happening both consciously and beneath the surface, working at a pace that supports your emotional safety. This developing insight brings the possibility of new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Together, we can identify unconscious patterns and unhelpful coping strategies, understand how past experiences may be influencing your present and process difficult emotions in a safe and supportive space.
If you’re looking to understand yourself more fully and move towards lasting change, I’d be glad to walk alongside you in that process.
