About the Therapist
I offer short and long-term therapy online and in person, based in Manchester. My practice is affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities, non-monogamy and kink. I have previous experience working in university and community settings and I currently work as a sessional therapist at Rainbow Mind in Salford.
I am a relational, integrative therapist who draws primarily from the person-centred and psychodynamic approach. I see the therapeutic relationship between us as important and I hope to offer you a connection where you feel safe, seen and supported.

In sessions, nothing is off-limits to discuss. You may like to talk about your moods, dreams, memories, desires, relationships, uncomfortable feelings or long-standing coping strategies. Therapy can offer space to digest heavier feelings that you may struggle to carry alone. I welcome complexity, messiness, contradiction and stuff that is hard to articulate or feels 'wrong' to say.
Throughout our work, I will likely enquire about your past experiences and formative relationships, to understand more about who you are, helping us draw connections between your past and present. We may reflect on the here-and-now between us, thinking about how this relates to your relationships outside the therapy room. We may also think about wider, collective issues and/or systemic oppression, noticing how they impact you or others in your life.
Our work can also bring hopeful and creative thinking, together we may recognize expectations, norms or scripts that may be limiting you, opening up space to think in new and expansive ways.
