About the Therapist
My path to becoming Practitioner was shaped by a long-held conviction: that real healing — the kind that lasts — requires us to turn towards the parts of ourselves and circumstances we most want to avoid.
That conviction began with my Master's in Peace and Reconciliation Studies in 2004, which set me on a path of exploring what it takes — in individuals, communities and societies — to move from woundedness towards wholeness.
Two decades on, I continued to train and work in therapeutic and healing spaces, always drawn towards deeper questions.
What is it that keeps us stuck? What does it take to genuinely change?
Shadow Work and Deep Process Psychotherapy, as taught through the Healing The Shadow organisation, gave me the most complete and profound answer I have found to those questions. This is now the foundation of my practice.

I offer Shadow Work and Deep Process Psychotherapy sessions — online and in person — helping you understand the hidden patterns shaping your life, and guiding you towards lasting transformation.
In the sessions you have the opportunity to meet and experience the parts of you that are ready to be heard and understood. This brings about the possibility for healing and integrating these parts so that they are no longer creating challenges in your life.
I work with clients who come from all walks of life — different backgrounds, different struggles, different degrees of prior experience with therapeutic work. What they tend to share is a sense that they are ready for something more honest and more transformative than they have found elsewhere.
In session, I bring steadiness, presence and a genuine willingness to accompany you into difficult territory. I will not be phased by what you bring. I will challenge you when it serves you, and hold you when that is what is needed.
I have 15 years of therapeutic experience. My background spans a wide range of therapeutic contexts:
I worked voluntarily with charities supporting adult survivors of childhood abuse — working alongside men and women who had experienced physical, sexual and ritual abuse. This work taught me what it means to hold a truly safe space for another person's most painful material.
I worked as a volunteer at an in-patient hospice unit, supporting people who were terminally ill to find peace with their past and their present circumstances. The privilege of accompanying people through that threshold deepened my understanding of what genuinely matters — and of the cost of leaving inner work undone.
More recently I have been working with young men involved in, or at risk of involvement with, the criminal justice system — mentoring and supporting them to move towards a life of meaning, purpose and connection.
I am a 3 Principles Practitioner, a resiliency-focused approach to personal and community psychology.
