About the Therapist
I’m a therapeutic counsellor, mediator and group facilitator. For more than ten years, I’ve supported people to navigate conflict, make difficult decisions, build power, deepen self awareness, and develop the skills they need to create meaningful change.

I am trained in humanistic counselling, with a particular focus on Person-Centred and Gestalt approaches. This means what we explore in our sessions is ultimately up to you. I believe you are the expert on your own experience. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to support and challenge you as you deepen your understanding of yourself, strengthen your self-awareness, and trust your own capacity for growth and change.
My experience and expertise are informed by my Jamaican-British working-class heritage and LGBTQIA+ perspectives. I have a strong understanding and appreciation of how wider social, cultural, and structural factors shape our experiences. I bring this awareness into my work with clients, recognising that personal challenges do not exist in isolation from the world around us. That said, I’m led by my client’s experience and exploration of the world as they see it.
We'll look at the relationships in your life - whether with family, partners, friends, or colleagues - to identify patterns, themes, and ways of relating that may be influencing your wellbeing. Through this process, I will support you in bringing greater alignment between your feelings, thoughts, and actions, helping you move towards living more authentically.
